Aquila church is where we combine a farm with a cafe.
We envision:
our farm creates a place we soak ourselves in nature God made;
our cafe makes a place where we get connected with others;
our church builds a place where we encounter the Lord.
We would like to be the church that opens a door for many to meet and experience our loving God as their own and be launched into their God-given destiny.

天倉 Church is a house church located in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
We gather on Friday evenings to share a meal as worship together.

“天倉” is a phonetic rendering, pronounced as “Akura,” and it was inspired by a biblical couple named Aquila and Priscilla.
This couple supported and sent out the well-known apostle Paul while engaging in the business of tent-making. We share their vision of nurturing, supporting, and sending out “modern-day Pauls” and “future Pauls” within the church.
The name “天倉” carries two meanings:
1. The first meaning is “God bestows infinite blessings from heaven” (Ephesians 1:3).
2. The second meaning is “Storing treasures in heaven by sharing the blessings received” (Luke 12:32-34).
We chose the name “天倉” with these sentiments in mind. Though we may not be tent-makers, we engage in activities like cultivating farmland and operating a coffee shop and coffee roaster. In this church, which integrates nature (the farm) and the community (the café), we hope to witness people being saved, healed, discovering their purpose, and growing together as God’s family before taking flight towards their calling.
